Buying from a funnel: how Digistore24 offers actually work
Who takes your money, who honours the refund, what the upsell pages are doing, and why the single bottle is always the expensive option.
Every product on this site is sold the same way: a direct offer page, a checkout run by Digistore24, and a sequence of upsell pages after you pay. If you have not bought this way before, here is what is actually happening.
Who you are buying from
Digistore24 acts as the merchant of record. Legally, you are buying from the platform, not from the supplement maker, even though the maker fulfils the order. This matters more than it sounds: it means the refund guarantee is a platform obligation, processed by the platform, rather than a promise from a marketer who may or may not answer email.
It is the single strongest consumer protection in this corner of the market, and it is the reason a product with an unverifiable panel can still be a bounded risk.
What the upsell pages are
After you pay, you will usually see two or three one-click offers before the receipt. These are pre-authorised against the card you just used. They are legitimate, and they are also designed to be accepted in a hurry.
Nothing on those pages is required for the product you just bought to work. Decline them all on a first order. If you still want one a month later, it will still exist.
Why the single bottle is a trap
Funnel pricing is built around volume. The single bottle carries the highest per-unit price and often the full shipping cost; the three- and six-bottle bundles carry most of the discount. That is a genuine saving if you were going to keep taking it.
The catch is that these ingredients need eight to twelve weeks before you can judge them, and the refund window is often shorter than the supply you just bought. Read the guarantee period, then work out how much of your order it actually covers. If the window is 60 days and you bought six months, four of those months are unprotected.
The refund, practically
- Note the guarantee period on the day you order — it is stated on the offer page and in the receipt email.
- Refunds are requested through Digistore24's support, not through the maker.
- Keep the receipt email. It carries the order ID everything else hangs off.
- Some guarantees require returning the bottles. Read that line before you throw the packaging away.
How to use the window as a quality check
When the bottle arrives, read the supplement facts panel — properly, against the four checks in our label guide. If the doses do not justify the price, that is exactly what the window is for. Using it is not bad faith; it is the mechanism working as designed.
